Costs:

There are now three options for conference attendance - a hotel suite, an on-campus camping area, and a commuting option. Note that meal plans are required for all registrants; in the hotel case, the cost is included, and for the camping and commuting options it is broken out separately. In the case of commmuters, the meal cost includes a generic $20-per- person commuting fee that is charged by the conference center.

Space for the camping option is limited, and will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis. Hotel rooms do not include a TV/telephone, and are non-smoking. The camping option includes hookups for campers and space for tents, along with a collective bath-house with showers and rest-rooms close at hand. Note that the registration fee is per-family basis and applies to singles, and also that the child rates are contingent on at least one parent attending the conference. If there are any questions as to what the final cost would be for a given family situation, please drop an email to John Burchett, or call 919-672-8744 if no prompt response is received.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What roommate arrangements are made for singles?
Since the rooms are hotel style with two double beds, singles will be paired up with roommates to share the room. If specific roommates are requested on the registration form, or by e-mail to John Burchett for online registrants, we will attempt to honor them as much as possible. Roommates can be accomodated up to a total of 5 per room, but we will only start by placing 2 per room. In light of our limited space, we may need to ask singles to fit more than two per room, but we'll cross that bridge if we come to it.

Will there be Spanish translation made available?
As of this moment, no arrangements have been made, but it is being considered as an option if there is suffucient demand.

Can singles who want to room together register together?
Singles will need to register separately, since the registration fee applies to each. Please include roommate requests or notify us of your request, and we will do our best to make it work.

    Is the conference site handicap-accessible?
Yes. The majority of the site is flat with paved sidewalks; the one exception is the entrance to the main auditorium, which includes a flat upper-level approach with an elevator to reach the main level.

How are minor children registered if they are attending the conference without parents?
The first two children should be registered as "Adults", and any other children at their normal rate.
