Our Vision

Our vision at Grace is simple. We seek to be a people who are loving God, one another, and the world through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Loving God

As the Scriptures say, we seek to love God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our strength, and with all our mind (Lk. 10:27; Mt. 22:37; Mk. 12:30). We love God by seeking to bring glory to him through our worship, our obedience, and our love toward others. We love him because of the inherent beauty of his perfections and because of his saving work towards sinners in Jesus Christ.

Loving One Another

Sharing life together in the church is one of our greatest privileges as believers in Jesus Christ. We strive to “walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us” (Eph 5:2). That love means living together in committed relationship, serving one another’s needs, bearing one another’s burdens, and using our spiritual gifts to build one another up in the grace and knowledge of Christ.

Loving the World

We know that “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (Jn. 3:16). Not only does God love the world, but he desires that his people love the world also. Because we have been shown God’s love through Christ, it is our desire, first and foremost, to love our neighbors (Mk. 12:31; Mt. 22:39) through ministries that bless our local community and through lives that show the love of Christ to our neighbors, friends, and coworkers. We also seek to love the world by supporting ministries that spread the good news of Jesus Christ throughout the world so that sinners from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation (Rev. 5:9) will be saved to the glory of God.

Through the Gospel of Jesus Christ

It is the gospel of Jesus Christ that makes all of this possible. The only way sinners like us are changed and come to have faith is through the gospel of Jesus Christ. The only way we can continue to change and to grow in Christ-likeness is through the gospel of Jesus Christ. The only way we can love God, our community, and the world is through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
